.32-20 Winchester Ammunition

Also known as: 32-20 winchester, 32-20 Win., .32-20

The 32-20 Winchester is sometimes called the Win Center Fire. It was the first small game lever action cartridge produced by Winchester upon its release in the early 1880’s. It was originally intended for use with black powder for varmint hunting and targeting other small game. While it was occasionally used for medium sized game like deer, most consider it too light to humanely use in deer hunting. Its primary selling point was extreme accuracy and low power, which did maximum damage to meat when game hunting at mid-range distances.
