16 Gauge Ammunition

The 16 gauge shotgun shell dates back to the early 20th Century when it was known as the gentleman’s gauge. It was widely used for hunting upland birds like the bobwhite quail or ruffed goose. The 16 gauge is still quite popular in Europe, but the 12 gauge is the most often selected shotgun choice in the United States.
